Description

Confoxing is a one-man studio located in Malmö, Sweden, focusing on different types of narrative games. It's currently working on Soulfused, a modern homage to the storytelling of classic text adventures. The demo is available on itch.io and Steam.

It is also publishing scenarios built for the tabletop RPG system Dread, all available at a 'pay what you want'-model on itch.io and DriveThruRPG.

History

Confoxing was founded by Anders, who has a long-standing interest in creative and playful experiences. His path into game development truly began when he moved to Copenhagen to study Game Design at the IT University. He is also engaged in narrative design and storytelling.

Soulfused grew from his fascination with stories and storytelling, channeling his love of tabletop RPGs and narrative games. The result is a game that invites players to step into the narrative and explore at their own pace. Development has been a labor of love over the past years, progressing at a modest, hobby-driven pace.

With Soulfused, Confoxing hopes to reach the generation that fell in love with the adventurous spirit of late-70s and early-80s games and players who cherish imaginative, story-driven journeys. The game aims to put a modern feel on the classic experience.
